#1: Torque Detail Mirror Shine

Torque Detail Mirror Shine tops this list because of its ease of use of rv owners, its outstanding protective qualities, the depth of its high-gloss shine, and the fact that it is very safe to use on decals, fiberglass, rubber, or gel coatings. This product is a uniquely formulated synthetic ceramic wax that doubles up as a sealant. Its patented polymer-based formula has been infused with silicon dioxide, hence its ceramic properties. The synthetic polymers and SiO2 will bond to your RV’s surface, forming a glass-like, hydrophobic layer of protection that will keep shedding off dirt, water, UV radiation, and other contaminants for up to six months.

This synthetic hybrid wax is offered in either a 16-ounce spray bottle or a 1-gallon option. The spray head makes it easy to control the amount of wax you use and helps you spread the wax evenly over your working surface. When you spray the product onto the paint section you are working on, use a microfiber towel to work it into the surface. After that, use another towel to buff the surface. For the best results, Torque Detail Mirror Shine should be applied after washing and decontaminating your RV.

#2: Meguiar’s M5616 Pure Wax Carnauba Blend

The Meguiar’s M5616 Pure Wax Carnauba Blend is purposefully formulated for RVs and boats, so it is safe to use on gel coatings, fiberglass or rubberized surfaces, and painted surfaces. Being a blend of Brazilian Carnauba wax and synthetic polymers, it is especially effective on dark-colored surfaces and clear-coated metal flake finishes. It delivers a deep, glossy shine that lasts and lasts. Also, its synthetic polymers will form a protective covering over your RV’s surface that will shield it from oxidation, fading, and other forms of degradation.

This product, which appears as one of the thick paste waxes, comes in a 16-ounce bottle. It can be applied by hand (using a foam applicator) or by machine.

#3: Gel-Gloss RV Wash and Wax

The Gel-Gloss RV Wash and Wax, which includes Carnauba wax, is also purposefully designed for RVs. Therefore, rest assured that it will preserve the pristine look of your RV’s fiberglass, metal, rubber, wood, gel-coat, or paint finishes. This product will both clean and wax your RV in one step, so it will save you the time you would otherwise have to spend washing the RV before waxing. Also, because this product is in the form of a concentrate, you will use just a tiny amount to clean and wax your entire RV. Undoubtedly, that will reduce your RV maintenance costs.

You can also count on the Gel-Gloss RV Wash and Wax to deliver a mirror-like shine with no streaking or water spotting. This product is also environmentally friendly, so you can use it to wash your RV on your lawn with confidence. It is offered in 16-ounce, 32-ounce, or 1-gallon bottles, all of which are affordably priced.

#4: Turtle Wax T-477R ICE Spray Wax

The Turtle Wax T-447R ICE Spray Wax is another easy spray-and-wipe wax product that you can use on the rubber, gel-coating, fiberglass and paint finishes of your RV. This product offers commendable value in the protection department thanks to its Smart Shield Polymer technology. Its purposefully synthesized polymers form a glass-like, protective layer over your RV’s exterior that shields against oxidation, chemical degradation, and UV-ray damage. Also worth noting is that this product is safe to apply in the sun or when it is hot outside, much unlike most other similar products.

The Turtle Wax T-447R ICE Spray Wax has been infused with Carnauba wax, which is why it delivers a wet, deep shine. This product comes in a 20-ounce spray bottle, so it is easy to control the amount of wax you use with each application. It has a watery consistency, but that shouldn’t put you off because just a tiny amount will go a long way.

#5: Meguiar’s M5032 One-step Liquid Cleaner Wax

The non-abrasive Meguiar’s M5032 One-step Liquid Cleaner Wax will make things easier for you when detailing your RV because it will enable you to polish, wax, and protect your RV’s surfaces in just one step. This product is also designed to form a protective layer that shields against the sun’s UV rays and corrosive contaminants like acid rain, road salt, bird droppings, and bug guts.

This product, which appears as a viscous liquid wax, can be applied by hand or machine. It is offered in a 16-ounce, 32-ounce, or 1-gallon bottle. When using it, start by washing and decontaminating your RV. After that, dab your foam applicator or machine polisher with some of the product and gently rub it into your RV’s surface. You then use clean microfiber towels to wipe off any excess detailing product as you buff to a deep shine.

Like other RV washes, you should only apply this product after giving your RV a thorough cleaning. Also, do not apply the product in direct sunlight. When applying the product, pour a small amount onto a clean microfiber towel and rub it into your RV’s exterior using circular motions. It will dry to a haze. The CorrosionX 61002 Rejex RV Wax will deliver a premium-looking, high-gloss finish to the exteriors of all types of vehicles. Its synthetic wax beautifies glass, painted metal, gel coat, acrylic, fiberglass, plastic, and polished metal, but many RV experts say it does its best work on gel coat finishes. This product will also create a thin polymer coating that will fend off the harmful effects of the sun while preventing dirt, water, exhaust, bug guts, and road grime from sticking to your RV’s exterior. Even graffiti will be easy to wipe off with this product. Worth noting, however, is that this product is not ideal for porous surfaces or highly oxidized painted surfaces.

Wait until the surface of your RV is cool before you apply Rejex RV wax. Also, avoid using the product in direct sunlight. When applying, squeeze the paste onto a microfiber towel or applicator pad and gently rub the product into your RV’s surface. After it has dried to a haze, use another microfiber towel to wipe off the product and then leave it to cure for several hours.

The 3M Marine Restorer and RV Wax shows its best work on highly oxidized, faded, or lightly scratched RV or boat exteriors, especially those with fiberglass or gel coat surfaces. This product combines rubbing compound with a proprietary blend of synthetic waxes. The rubbing compound will strip away layers of light oxidation while also removing scratches, swirls, and skid marks. In doing so, it will bring out the true colors of your RV’s surfaces. Because most RVs are too big to be sheltered in average-sized garages, they are likely to spend the better parts of their lifetimes exposed to the elements. Therefore, you will do well to invest in an RV wax that does well in the UV-ray protection department, e.g., the Torque Detail Mirror Shine. Regardless of the RV wax you will choose, plan to wax your RV at least once in three months, especially if your RV will be constantly exposed to a lot of mud, grime or snow. Such a waxing regiment will keep your RV looking fresh and shiny for years with the right product.
